VEHICLE PARKING

Parking Responsibly

Whilst we recognise we have no authority over how and where people park on the public highways, we do want to be good neighbours. It is essential that the roads and pavements around the club are safe for all road users and pedestrians.
All visiting clubs are asked to support us in this endeavour.
Reducing the number of vehicles that attend the club to a level where all vehicles can be accomodated within the site is obviously the best solution, therefore, please walk or cycle to the club if you are able to do so. If the club car park is full and the weather does not allow us to use any grassed areas for overflow parking, please park safely and considerately.
Although the club has no legal authority regarding any off-site parking, the behaviours of those using the club, including how and where they park, reflect on both our club and the rugby community in general. Please leave a possitive impression!
Below are some abridged reminders of the relevant Highway Code Rules, and other information regarding parking in the area surrounding our club.

Thank you

Alternative Parking
If you do decide to park on the public highway, do not park on the pavements or grass verges. Please avoid parking on the smaller residential roads next to the club. They are not designed to cope with on street parking. The following roads should be avoided:
- Nightingale Close
- Falcon Way
- Swan Close
- Heron Drive
- Kingfisher Road

Other available local parking:
Could you park at any of the other available FREE car parks in Brackley and then walk to the club?
Future Plans
We have started the process of designing and costing an all weather overflow car park within the club grounds. This will require considerable financing and will require planning permission from West Northants Council, so will not be a project that is likely to be achieved prior to the end of this season.
For the immediate future we will continue to use any available grassed area within the club grounds as overflow parking if the weather allows.
Have you parked safely and considerately?
Do NOT park on these roads
